Hello! My name is Richard aka Ginomanx3. I gave myself this online nickname back when I was first introduced to the internet (around 10 years old) and it simply stuck. Some gamer friends call me Gino for short, or Gino Maximus for the lolz. Ever since I was introduced to the online world, I knew right away this was going to be a big part of my life. From chat rooms and forums to online gaming and so much more, I was hooked.
When it came to high school and college, I mostly went for computer and internet related topics, which eventually got me a college diploma in Computer Systems and Networking. I’ve been working in the IT field for over 8 years now and I couldn’t be happier.
As you can already tell by my page, I am a HUGE Batman fan! It all started when I watched Tim Burton’s Batman when I was a little kid and it skyrocketed with Batman: The Animated Series. I would watch it all over and over again, along with collecting the toys, games, comics, etc. As I got older, my fascination with the characters only grew and inspired me to start sketching. I’m a bit out of practice nowadays but plan on diving back in. Now, at the age of 29, I got my own little Batcave at home that contains a ton of rare statues, action figures, comics, framed posters and so on. It’s my go to place for gaming, reading, work, and relaxation.
Besides my addiction to Batman, I have a number of hobbies that are always changing, rotating in and out. Some of my close friends and family say I have too many hobbies, but so what? I like to have plenty of options and I love to learn and experience new things. My hobbies and interests include, but are not limited to: Drawing/sketching, soccer, hockey, listening to EDM/Trance, deejaying, learning piano, reading comics/graphic novels, collecting Batman and video game memorabilia, board games, cosplay, cycling, going to the gym, watching WWE/wrestling, and traveling.
I am also an avid gamer. I realize this trait won’t get me many dates, but I know how to balance my life and maybe one day I’ll meet a nice woman who will accept one of my main hobbies. The games I am currently playing are: Hearthstone, Rocket League, Street Fighter V, Dark Souls series, Smash Bros, NHL 19 and a few racing games.
Well there’s a few points about me. For someone who works in IT, I finally decided to start working on my own website. I’m not much of a web designer so WordPress will definitely do the trick. I’ll try to update the site sometimes but no promises. After all, I do have a lot of hobbies to keep me entertained!
